Windsor Place has a Relay for Life team every year that raises money for the American Cancer Society. Fundraisers include carnivals, bake sales, meals to go, cookbooks, T-Shirt sales, etc. The team stays busy and was named the first Diamond team in Southeast Kansas at the large event in June 2008, raising over $21,000! In June 2009, the team set another record by being named Diamond once again, raising $27,000! June 2010, the team became a 3rd time Diamond Team raising over $27,000!
The team is committed to funding cancer research, in order to find a cure. Throughout the year, residents are involved in many of the fundraising activities and they join in the community events as well.
