Windsor Place At-Home Care is a licensed home health agency. Area offices include Coffeyville, Independence, Pittsburg, Chanute, Winfield, Ft. Scott, and Lawrence. The mission of Windsor Place At-Home Care is to provide independent living support services for the elderly so that they remain in the comfort and security of their own home.
Our program provides a little extra help with the activities of daily living for the person who can’t live at home any longer, but does not need nursing home care. Our philosophy is one of maximizing independence while providing necessary assistance. Our home practices the principles of resident choice, autonomy, individuality, and privacy.
Windsor Place strives to create and achieve “home” for everyone living here. Windsor Place is an Eden Alternative facility with cats, dogs, birds, plants and an emphasis on the resident as an individual. The integration of children throughout each week adds to meaningful and engaging relationships with Residents of Windsor Place. Residents have control of their choices in bathing, dining, activities, and other aspects of their daily lives.
The Alzheimer’s Special Care Unit at Windsor Place is available to meet the special needs of loved ones experiencing the onset of Alzheimer’s or other related dementia. The Alzheimer’s disease process affects the entire family and our Support Group and specially trained staff make it just a little easier for families to cope.
